Hi Everyone. It's Chris from QSC
0:10
And in this video, we're going to show you how to use your K.2 speaker as an instrument amplifier
0:15
There's a few different input and preset options on the K.2
0:18
So we're going to go through a couple of different examples of how you can use it
0:21
based on what instrument you're connecting to it
0:24
The first example we're going to look at is how to use the K.2 speaker with a line level instrument
0:28
such as a keyboard, electronic drums or anything similar that has a line level output
0:33
The K.2 has three inputs on the back of it. Two of which can be used to accept a line level signal
0:39
Keeping your K.2 speaker in the "Default" preset, you still have the ability to customize your sound
0:45
with the on-board, four band EQ, after you've plugged into it
0:50
Once our gain levels are set, our K.2 speaker is now a stand-alone PA system
0:53
With no need for external equipment or processing
1:05
Another example of how you can use your K.2 speaker as an instrument amplifier is as a bass a bass amp
1:10
There's an on-board bass amp preset. And when combined with the Hi-Z selectable instrument input
1:15
on channel B, you can use this as a portbale combo bass amplifer on stage.
1:21
By simply selecting through the on-board menu, set input B to Hi-Z instrument
1:26
and in the preset menu, select Bass amp
1:29
Now you can use this a bass amplifier in wedge monitor mode
1:32
or stand it straight up and use it on stage as needed.
