Q-SYS VisionSuite: Vision-based Control

Transcript

00:00
Not only can you use these trigger zones
00:03
and these trigger areas to trigger camera-based activities to happen,
00:07
but because you have at your disposal the full
00:11
might of the control engine that's integrated into that core processor,
00:15
it means that you can effectively use Seervision to trigger almost anything.
00:21
So, if you wanted a scenario where, you know, the presenter,
00:25
you want the presenter's lighting to change when he walks in a specific area,
00:29
you can do that with a given trigger zone.
00:32
You can also have a scenario where that person walks in front of a display,
00:37
and then that display automatically turns on.
00:41
Effectively, you can use that control engine to
00:43
do whatever you can imagine as long as it's connected to Q-SYS,
00:50
regardless of how juvenile that might be.
00:53
And that kind of brings me to the very last scenario here.
00:57
I'm going to put a disclaimer out:
00:58
we're not recommending that you do this obviously,
01:01
cameras don't work in the dark,
01:03
and there's really no useful application for what you're about to see,
01:06
aside from making me smile every time I watch it.
01:09
So, uh, Kevin, if you don't mind, can you show us what that looks like?
01:14
So we've enabled a trigger zone here on our display, and when I come up,
01:19
we see now it caused the video to pop up.
01:22
We had Q-SYS girl come up, and she's telling me,
01:24
"Hey, I need to go get a drink, sounds like you're getting a little raspy in the voice."
01:28
So, I'm going to go over to that bridge zone and trigger it, did you all right?
